Bernie Sanders: Hillary Clinton Could’ve Done More on Russian Meddling

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said on Wednesday that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign could have done more to inform the public about Russia’s election-meddling practices. The former Democratic primary hopeful said he “did not know Russian bots were promoting my campaign” and attacking Clinton in the run-up to the general election. “They had more information about this than we did. And at this point we were working with them,” Sanders told Vermont Public Radio, adding that the “real question” should be why the Clinton campaign didn’t act on their information.
