President Biden is expected to reverse the Trump administration’s ban on transgender people serving in the military, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday. The ban, first announced via tweet by President Trump in July 2017, has been in effect since April 2019. Biden is expected to make the move via executive order, according to the Journal. The Senate confirmed Biden's pick to lead the Defense Department, Ret. Gen. Lloyd Austin, on Friday.
