Photographer Gray Malin got the idea to shoot beaches from above on a weekend getaway in April 2011. Malin has since photographed beaches and beachgoers worldwide. In his book, he includes some insider tips like where to stay, what to eat, and what cannot be missed from each of the places he visited. For Rio De Janeiro, Malin suggests the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum if you're feelng cultural and Aprazível for a fun night out. Courtesy Gray Malin In Saint-Tropez, Malin suggests staying at the Château de la Messardière, lounging at the Plage de Pampelonne, eating at La Tarte Tropézienne, and ending the day at Le Club 55. One of the best things to do in Sydney, Malin writes, is the coastal walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach (pictured here).
