Bitcoin, the most popular cryptocurrency, dropped to $19,000—its lowest price since 2000 and a 70 percent drop from its peak. As Bitcoin dipped below the $20,000 mark, a rival cryptocurrency, Ether, took a similar slide to under $1,000 on Saturday. Crypto has lost some $2 trillion in value in a meltdown that has left investors reeling and companies cutting jobs.
