A newly svelte Zach Galifianakis returns to his Funny or Die web series Between Two Ferns for the first time since he interviewed President Obama. Maintaining the high caliber of guest to which his viewers have become accustomed, Galifianakis welcomes Brad Pitt to the ferns.
Needless to say, it gets weird. There’s gum sharing, references to mega-star Pitt being overshadowed by his wife, mega-star Angelina Jolie, a nod to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, and a mid-interview stand-up set by Louis C.K., who tells hacky jokes and asks Pitt what role he played in “Benjamin Buttons.”
The Hangover star, currently in the critically acclaimed Birdman, certainly knows how to bring the funny as well as the awkward.
