Let the saber rattling begin. Brian Lewis has broken his silence after being fired as Fox News chief Roger Ailes’ right-hand man following reports of unspecified “financial issues” and “complaints about complacency.” A month after Lewis was fired, his lawyer broke the news to Gawker on Tuesday that he has “just been retained” and is “still plotting our course of action,” but accused Roger Ailes “and his toadies” of “telling lies” about Lewis and said that Ailes and Newscorp have “a lot more to fear” than Lewis. Lewis had been with Fox News since April, 1996, until he was canned on July 25 for “multiple, material and significant breaches of his employment contract,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
