Brian Williams is officially returning to the TV anchor chair. Starting next Tuesday, the former NBC Nightly News anchor will host a half-hour program on MSNBC at 11 p.m., titled The 11th Hour With Brian Williams. The longtime NBC broadcaster was removed from the Nightly News chair early last year after it was revealed he had repeatedly exaggerated accounts of his own reporting, including his time embedded during the Iraq War. After he served a six-month suspension, NBC brass moved him to a reduced role as a breaking-news desk anchor for MSNBC. This new show will run until Election Day, according to CNN media reporter Brian Stelter.
