British Police Hunt Suspect Who ‘Looks Like Ross From Friends’

Police in Blackpool, England have been inundated with comments after issuing a social media appeal for an alleged thief who's the spitting image of Ross from “Friends.” Police posted a photo of the suspect carrying what appears to be a big crate of cans—and the comments rapidly descended into a “Friends” reference competition. One user wrote: “Shouldn’t he be at work … or is he on a break?” Another posted: “I bet he was shouting ‘PIVOT’ as he picked those beers up.” Another wrote: “Please approach with caution. He is known to have studied karate and we believe he has mastered the art of Unagi, the state of total awareness.” Following thousands of responses, Lancashire constabulary thanked the public and said: “We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date. We’re so sorry it has to be this way.”
