The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fired head coach Lovie Smith after two seasons, the team announced on Wednesday. Buccaneers co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a statement said it was time to "make a change" and General Manager Jason Licht would oversee the process for finding the next head coach. The announcement comes three days after the Bucs finished a 6-10 season, which ended with a four-game losing streak. The Bucs went 8-24 in Smith's two seasons. The 57-year-old becomes the third head coach to be dismissed by the Bucs in a little more than four years.
