Ted Bundy confessed to 30 murders, but people have long suspected the death toll is much higher. We may soon find out if that’s the case, as the FBI has a DNA profile of Bundy after discovering a 30-year-old vial of his blood in a Florida courthouse. Police will now be able to check any DNA evidence from cold cases against Bundy, to see if there’s a match. One of the first cases will be Ann Marie Burr, an 8-year-old who disappeared from Tacoma, Washington, in 1961. Bundy, then 14, lived in Tacoma at the time, and police have long wondered if he was responsible. Before his death, Bundy denied a role in Burr’s death.
