An astounding collection from Christopher Bailey at Burberry Prorsum came down the runway in London on Monday afternoon -- as ever, one of the highlights of London Fashion Week.

The "English Rose" collection for Spring / Summer 2014 has Bailey betting that the Burberry girl will be wearing macramé lace and yielding Scottish cashmere next season, along with raw silk, felted Merino wool and soft suede.

The palette was gentle and pretty, focusing on rose pinks, lavenders, dusky mauve, mint, faun and pale lemon. The silhouette was classic Christopher Bailey, with coat dresses, wraps and pencil skirts predominating. And to keep the sun out of her eyes, the Burberry girl will be wearing white framed, petal-shaped dark glasses next spring.

Cornering as much attention as the clothes today, however, was the front row, where Harry Styles whispered and giggled with Sienna Miller while his girlfriend, Cara Delevingne, sauntered down the catwalk.

We caught up with Harry after the show, and asked him about it all: Do you get nervous when you see Cara on the catwalk? “No, not really," he said. "She’s very good at her job, she knows what she’s doing. She doesn’t need any advice from me."

Is he enjoying fashion week, now he seems to have become a fixture of it? “I don’t think I am a fixture! I have been to two shows and everyone thinks I have been at everything. But, yeah, the energy is incredible. It’s just nice to be able to support British designers, and today’s show here was amazing. Britain as a whole is just doing so well at the moment and fashion is part of that as well, it's huge. London has a special charm to it that other places don’t.”

And who does he think is the most beautiful model on the catwalk? “They’re all beautiful,” he says with a sheepish grin. Is this what they call keeping one's options open?
