One of Herman Cain’s accusers is ready to talk, her lawyer said Tuesday, but she is bound to silence by a confidentially agreement in her settlement. Her lawyer, Joel Bennett, said his client is “very upset” by the allegations that she is lying and added that the case was resolved in a sexual-harassment settlement and not a termination agreement, as Cain has claimed. Bennett said he would be contacting the National Restaurant Association's attorney to seek to have the gag order lifted, since he claims Cain has violated his side of the agreement. Meanwhile, the other accuser has been revealed as receiving a year’s salary—or $35,000—in severance from the National Restaurant Association.
