Ken Taylor, Canada's former ambassador to Iran who helped six Americans escape Iran during the 1979 hostage crisis, died Thursday. Taylor and his wife procured Canadian passports for the six U.S. embassy workers, who pretended to be part of a Candian film crew. The six Americans left Iran on a commerical flight. Taylor's role was popularized in 2012's Argo.
