Caribbean islands are bracing for yet another powerful storm, as Tropical Storm Maria is due to soon strengthen to hurricane status. Many of the same islands that were ravaged by Hurricane Irma are in Maria’s path, according to the National Hurricane Center. “Strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours,” the NHC said. Affected islands include Antigua, Barbuda, Guadeloupe, St. Martin, Anguilla, and others.
