Donald Trump is not the only one who has made disparaging comments about Carly Fiorina’s face.
Following last week’s Republican debate on CNBC, The View co-host remarked, “You know what Carly said which really made me laugh? She kicked off her thing saying, ‘You know, people tell me that I didn’t smile enough during the last debate.' She looked demented! Her mouth did not downturn one time.”
That remark prompted Joy Behar to suggest a “smiling Fiorina” Halloween mask.

"Can you imagine? It'd give me nightmares," Collins added.
Fiorina did not take kindly to those comments, telling Fox News Sunday this past week, “Let’s see if they have the guts to say that to my face,” adding, “Frankly, I’m tired of being insulted by liberal feminists who talk about women’s issues when the reality is every issue is a women’s issue.”
On Friday morning, Fiorina returned to The View, this time via satellite from New Hampshire, and gave the hosts a chance to repeat those “insults” to her face.
Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the interview by saying she wanted to “clear the air” with the candidate. “What’s happening, girl?” she asked.
“Look, I’ve been called all kinds of things, Whoopi, and it’s wonderful to be back with you, ladies,” Fiorina said.
“I’ve been called a bimbo from the time I was a secretary to the time I was a CEO,” she added, seeming to equate the daytime talk show co-hosts with the misogynist men she has encountered throughout her career. “I think we need to be able to have civil conversations in this country about our differences as well as about the things that unite us.”
After some contentious talk surrounding Planned Parenthood, Goldberg returned to the issue of Fiorina’s ability to take “humor” in stride, an important skill for any major public figure.
“Well, hey if you meant your comment about my face being ‘demented’ and a ‘Halloween mask’ as humorous, so be it,” Fiorina said. “I guess you misinterpreted Donald Trump’s comments about my face and thought those weren’t humorous.”
“I have a real thick skin,” she insisted as The View’s co-hosts rejected what they saw as an unfair comparison.
Fiorina pointed out that The View confronted Trump over his comments about her face earlier this fall, with Behar specifically asking him, “Why don’t you talk about her brain instead of her face?”
As a comedian, Behar explained she believes there are things she can to say that a supposedly serious presidential candidate like Trump cannot.
