The former foreign-policy adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, Carter Page, said Monday that the recently released GOP intel committee memo was “even worse than I could have possibly imagined.” Page made the comment during an appearance on Fox News with host Laura Ingraham. “There was a lot of details that kept dripping out and it sounded really bad,” the notoriously chatty subject of the investigation into Russian interference in the U.S. election said. “When I actually saw it, it was even worse than I could’ve possibly imagined.” Page also lauded the House panel for its “great” work on the memo. The GOP-led committee publicly released formerly classified information alleging that the DOJ and FBI “failed to disclose how the request they used to spy on Page relied on information from a politically biased source,” reports Politico.
