With the blizzard coming tonight, the midnight train to Georgia may be running late. The state is preparing for sleet, ice, snow, and winds early Wednesday morning, in a storm the Weather Service warns "may be of historic proportions." President Obama declared Georgia in a state of emergency, and designated federal aid to help with the response efforts. Schools have already been closed and motorists have been warned to stay off the roads in an attempt to avoid the standstill Atlanta was brought to when snow and ice hit late last month.
