CBS is facing investigations by New York city and state officials after reports of alleged sexual-misconduct involving former CEO Les Moonves and “concerns about the working environment at the company,” Variety reports. In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing submitted Friday, the company disclosed it received subpoenas from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and the New York City’s Commission on Human Rights, as well as a request for information from the New York State Attorney General. CBS wrote in the filing that it is “cooperating with the ongoing investigation and related inquiries.” CBS has two outside law firms investigating the allegations of sexual-misconduct involving Moonves published in the New Yorker. Moonves has since left CBS, with former chief operating officer Joe Ianniello replacing him as acting CEO and former TimeWarner and Citigroup Chair Dick Parson replacing him as interim chairman of the board of directors.
