CeeLo Green pleaded not guilty Monday to charges that he slipped MDMA, also known as Molly, a form of ecstasy, into a woman’s drink at a Los Angeles restaurant. Prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to charge the singer with raping the woman while intoxication. Green, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Calloway, could face up to four years in prison if he is convicted. Sources said Green admitted to drugging the woman in a documented phone call after the July 2012 incident. He surrendered to police on Monday, and immediately posted the $30,000 bond.
