HBO Options Game Change

HBO has optioned Game Change, the book about the 2008 political campaign that has been making headlines—most of all, for its unflattering portrait of John and Elizabeth Edwards. So who will play them? One of the book’s authors, Mark Halperin, goes for a cheap laugh by suggesting Rosie O’Donnell play Elizabeth. (The Daily Beast suggests Blair Brown.) He’s not much more polite when it comes to Sarah Palin, who he suggests should play herself. “It seems she’s willing to do almost anything for money,” he says.
