Men should get ready now to suck it up and to take their women to this flick: The beloved young-adult novel Tiger Eyes is coming to the big screen, The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday. Tiger Eyes, the story of a teenage girl whose family moves to New Mexico after a tragedy, was published in 1981. Blume reportedly wrote the screenplay with her son, Lawrence Blume, who is also directing the movie. This is the first Blume novel to be turned into a feature film, although several have been turned into TV movies.
