Just days after 15 people were killed on a discount bus line originating in New Yorkâs Chinatown, a second crash has claimed two more lives. On Tuesday, a bus leaving from Manhattanâs Chinatown neighborhood and headed for Philadelphia veered off of the New Jersey Turnpike and crashed into a concrete pillar, injuring dozens of people and killing two, including the driver, who was thrown through the windshield. The popular Chinatown buses are now under renewed scrutiny for safety infractions.
