The first peer-reviewed genetic study of biological samples from “Bigfoot” shows that the creature is in fact an known animal species. Oxford University researchers published their findings in a scientitic journal Monday. Bigfoot enthusiasts sent 57 of what they thought to be biological samples to the researchers. Twenty of them weren’t hairs at all; seven didn’t have enough DNA to identify. The other 37 were all ID’d as coming from animals: four from horses; four from wolves or dogs; the rest from cows, racooons, deer, porcupine, and one human.
