Police arrested six people in Minnesota and San Diego as a part of a probe into young people traveling or attempting to travel to Syria to fight with Islamic militants. A spokesman for the Minneapolis office of the FBI confirmed the six arrests but would not give further details. Authorities said there is no threat to public safety, according to Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office spokesman Ben Petok. The U.S. Attorney's Office and the FBI are scheduled to release more details at a news conference Monday on a joint terrorism task force operation.
