At a rally after his visit to the Shroud of Turin, Pope Francis issued his strongest condemnation yet of people who manufacture weapons. He declared that those who do so and call themselves Christians are hypocrites. Pope Francis also spoke about the Holocaust, lamenting that the “great powers had the pictures of the railway lines that brought the trains to the concentration camps like Auschwitz to kill Jews, Christians, homosexuals, everybody. Why didn't they bomb (the railway lines)?"
