Day closed with a 5-under 67 that put him at 20 under, breaking Tiger Woods’ record for the lowest score in relation to par in major-championship history. “It’s an amazing feeling, just the work that I’ve put into my game ever since I was a 12-year-old kid, to be able to stand in front of a crowd like this today and win a PGA Championship is pretty special,” Day said.
