Mars candy company recalled chocolate bars and other items in more than 50 countries, mainly throughout Europe, after products in Germany were found with pieces of red plastic in them. The recalled items include Mars, Snickers, and Milky Way bars, which were all manufactured at a Dutch factory. Mars is recalling the products because it reportedly cannot guarantee that there is no plastic in items made at the factory earlier this year. Candy bars with best-before dates ranging from June 19, 2016, to Jan. 8, 2017, are part of the recall.
