Donald Trump stepped up his attacks on China during a rally in Indiana on Sunday. The Republican presidential frontrunner accused the country of “raping” the U.S. on trade. “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country, and that’s what they’re doing,” he said at a rally in Fort Wayne, referring to China’s high number of exports compared with the U.S. Trump has repeatedly attacked China’s trade policy, claiming the country’s currency devaluation would “suck the blood out” of America. The businessman’s remarks come ahead of the state’s crucial primary. According to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll, Trump leads Cruz 49-34 in the critical May 3 primary race.
