Trump Disavows Racist Butler’s Comments

Donald Trump disavowed his most loyal servant’s profound hatred of President Obama on Thursday. The Trump campaign issued a statement saying they “totally and completely disavow the horrible statements made by him regarding the president.” Mother Jones revealed Thursday that Anthony Senecal—who worked for 17 years as Trump’s butler before being named in-house historian—has a history of racist Facebook posts calling Obama a “filthy muzzie” and suggesting “this prick needs to be hung for treason,” among other screeds. In one post, he published a photograph of Obama with the caption “If ALLAH HAD AN ASSHOLE IT WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS,” and on June 18, he referred to the president as an “unfeeling sack of camel feces.” In other instances, he called Hillary Clinton a “cunt.”
