Fox News is shuttering its Hispanic news site, Fox News Latino, a correspondent for the digital outlet announced on Thursday. “Sad day—Fox News Latino is history,” Bryan Llenas wrote. The website will go offline after midnight, he confirmed. It was launched in 2010 with a mission to “give voice to the voiceless and bring often ignored stories from the Latino community to the mainstream,” Llenas wrote, adding: “I always said in a perfect world we wouldn’t need a Fox News Latino—because newsrooms around the nation would recognize that the Latino community is the mainstream community.”
