‘Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’ Apologizes for Mocking Brain Cancer Patient’s ‘Nazi Hair’

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee has issued an apology for making fun of Kyle Coddington, a contributor to OUTSET Magazine, in a field piece from this year's CPAC that aired Wednesday night. With Coddington's image on screen, the narrator of the piece joked, “This year, the bow ties were gone and replaced by Nazi hair.” In a tweet hours later, Coddington’s sister revealed that one of the men with the high-and-tight haircuit was her brother, and that he has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for stage-four brain cancer. The video has since been removed from the show’s YouTube and Facebook pages, and the show’s Twitter account posted an apology: “We deeply apologize for offending @_that_kyle in our CPAC segment. We only learned of his condition today & have removed him from the piece.”
