A child’s remains have been discovered at the New Mexico compound where 11 kids were found living in “filthy” conditions last week. Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and four other adults were arrested at the site near Amalia on child-abuse charges after police found the 11 children dressed in rags and covered in “odorous trash.” Authorities have been searching for 4-year-old Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, who was allegedly abducted by Siraj Wahhaj, his father, in Georgia last December. The child, who was not among the 11 children found at the makeshift compound, reportedly suffered from seizures and severe disabilities that impaired his walking abilities. His mother told police that Siraj Wahhaj, whose father is a prominent Brooklyn imam, thought the toddler was “possessed by the devil” and intended to withhold his medication. The 11 children, who are between the ages of 1 and 15, are now in state custody.
