The space race continues. China said Saturday that it is planning for a manned space docking in June, the first such out-of-this-world attempt by the country’s space agency. China’s official news agency said that astronauts will launch in “mid-June” to dock a Shenzhou 9 spacecraft with a Tiangong 1 orbital module. One crew member will stay on the Shenzhou spacecraft as a safety precaution while other crew members cross over into the orbital module.
