Chloe Kim, 17-Year-Old American Snowboarding Phenom, Wins Gold

Chloe Kim, the 17-year-old American snowboarder, won a gold medal Tuesday in the women’s snowboarding Halfpipe competition. It’s the U.S.’s third gold medal so far in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Kim had already secured the gold before she completed her third and final run. Arielle Gold, another American, won a bronze medal, bringing the U.S.’s total medal count to six.
