The embattled singer checked into rehab on Tuesday, one day after he appeared in court for an assault charge alleging he punched a man near the W Hotel in Washington D.C. over the weekend. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point," Brown's rep said in a statement. He's due back in court at the end of November after being charged with a misdemeanor simple assault for last weekend's incident.
