Disappointing prurient counterterrorism analysts everywhere, Osama bin Laden’s reportedly vast collection of porn was not among troves of material recovered from the slain al-Qaeda leader’s Abbottabad compound that the CIA released on Wednesday. But the agency for the first time specified the titles of movies that the Navy SEALs who raided the compound in 2011 and killed bin Laden discovered. The video library in Bin Laden’s safe-house household, which included women and children, featured the animated movies Antz, Batman: Gotham Knight, Storm Rider: Clash of the Evils, Cars, Chicken Little, Home on the Range and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs; the video games Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil; and several documentaries on bin Laden himself, including CNN’s In The Footsteps of bin Laden, Biography’s Osama bin Laden, and Morgan Spurlock’s Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden.
