Clarence Thomas’ Wife Hired Ex-TPUSA Staffer Who Made Racist Comments: Report

The wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas hired a former Turning Point USA staffer who left the group after her racist texts became public, Mediaite reports. In texts published by The New Yorker, Crystal Clanton wrote, “I HATE BLACK PEOPLE. Like fuck them all . . . I hate blacks. End of story.” She was the second-in-command at TPUSA and was known as an “enforcer” before she left late last year, a source told Mediaite. Ginni Thomas, whose husband is the only black justice currently sitting on the Supreme Court, hired Clanton shortly after she left TPUSA. Clanton does media work for Thomas and has traveled with her to several events. The women appear in photos together on social media, including some images featuring Clarence Thomas. Ginni Thomas also praised Clanton on social media in January, writing “Hat Tip to Crystal Clanton (who makes every day better and more fun!) for snapping some pictures.”
