Clinton: Expect More Hillary Health Talk

Step back, Karl Rove. Bill Clinton is coming to his wife’s defense. Speaking at the Peterson Foundation’s Fiscal Summit in Washington on Wednesday, the former president hit back at Rove’s comments about his wife’s health. “Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. First they said she faked her concussion, and now they say she’s auditioning for a part in The Walking Dead.” He also declared that the GOP will do “whatever it takes” to hurt Hillary. Clinton said his wife “works out every week. She is strong. She is doing great. As far as I can tell, she’s in better shape than I am.” Perhaps reflecting on his own battles with the GOP in the 1990s, Clinton said, “It’s just the beginning … It’s just the part of the deal.”
