In a new poll conducted by The Washington Post and ABC News, Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump overall 51 percent to 39 percent. Almost one-third of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents surveyed said that Trump was unqualified for office. Only 69 percent of Republicans who supported another candidate in the primary besides Trump say they support him now, while 13 percent of say they back Clinton. Clinton's support also rose among registered male voters, now putting her at a tie with Trump at 45 percent. Overall, Clinton also leads Trump 77 to 15 percent among non-white voters.
In a second poll, conducted by The Wall Street Journal and NBC News, Clinton leads Trump 46 percent to 41 percent. But her leads among certain minority voting groups are large. Among African-Americans, she leads 87 percent to 5 percent, among Latinos it's 69 percent to 22 percent and among women it's 52 percent to 35 percent.
