Despite the negative attention stemming from Donald Sterling's racist remarks, the team took the first round of the NBA playoffs, beating the Golden State Warriors 126-121. Normally subdued coach Doc Rivers was visibly ebullient, screaming and high-fiving the Clippers broadcaster. “I thought that our guys fought the adversity. I thought it drained them and they found enough energy to find a way to win the game,” he said.
