A remake of the beloved comedy Clueless is in the works, with Glow writer Marquita Robinson set to pen the script and Girls Trip scribe Tracy Oliver producing, TheWrap reports. The movie is reportedly “early in development” at Paramount and there is no word yet on the cast. The late ’90s classic is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma, and centers around Beverly Hills high schooler Cher Horowitz. Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, the late Brittany Murphy, and Stacey Dash all starred in the original film, which put several young stars on the map.
