Tuesday evening’s CNN/Facebook Republican debate was the third-most-watched primary debate ever, according to Nielsen Fast National ratings data. Moderated by Wolf Blitzer, the three-hour event averaged 18 million total viewers, with a 5.6 million average in the key 25-54 demographic. Such numbers make the debate CNN’s second-most-watched program in network history, behind its September 2015 GOP debate, which garnered 23 million viewers.
