CNN announced on Monday that starting in January 2018, The Van Jones Show will join the network’s primetime schedule on a bimonthly basis. According to a press release, the new show, hosted by former Obama administration “green jobs czar” and current CNN contributor Van Jones, will focus on “the forces that elected Donald Trump, the anti-Trump ‘resistance’ movement and the future of both major parties.” Over the past year, Jones hosted a series of town hall-style shows for CNN called The Messy Truth and just last month released a book titled Beyond the Messy Truththat aimed to bring together both sides of the country’s political divide.
