Michael Cohen claimed Wednesday that President Trump directed him to lie to first lady Melania about his payments to Stormy Daniels over the phone. “Not only did I lie to the American people, I lied to the First Lady when the president called me and I was sitting in a car with a friend of mine and he had me speak to her and explain to the First Lady,” the former Trump lawyer said before the House Oversight Committee, adding that he doesn’t “feel good about any of this.”
