Marty Allen, of the comedy duo Allen & Rossi and a frequent performer on shows like The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, died Monday at age 95. Allen died of complications with pneumonia with his wife and long-time performing parter Karon Kate Blackwell by his side in Las Vegas. Allen was famous for his signature “hello dere” line, and was a contemporary of show business legends such as Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley. Allen spent much of his later life performing in Las Vegas.
