In spite of rumors that Conan O’Brien would be re-locating to his former home at Fox, TBS has announced a deal with the former Tonight Show host for a show likely to debut in November. The announcement comes at the kickoff of O’Brien’s comedy tour across the U.S., a response to his contract with NBC barring him from appearing on television until September. “In three months, I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theater, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly,” said O’Brien in a statement. O’Brien’s new show is set to air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m., which will bump George Lopez’s Lopez Tonight to midnight. In January, NBC removed O’Brien from The Tonight Show to bring Jay Leno back, after his failed attempt in primetime.
