Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna announced Tuesday that she wants to use her new task force dedicated to uncovering ā€œfederal secretsā€ to question the investigators of President John F. Kennedyā€™s 1963 assassination.

Her only issue? They are all dead.

The congresswoman said during a press conference Tuesday that she hopes to use the ā€œTask Force on the Declassification of Federal Secretsā€ to speak to physicians and members of the Warren Commission, which was formed to look into Kennedyā€™s assassination.

ā€œIā€™m looking to actually bring in some of the attending physicians at the initial assassination. Then also people that had been on the various commissions looking into it, like the Warren Commission looking into the initial assassination,ā€ she said.

However, all seven members of the Warren Commission are dead, Mediaite reported.

The task force chairman also revealed a personal belief about JFKā€™s murder: ā€œI believe that there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we are able to.ā€

According to Luna: ā€œFor too long, the American spirit has been dimmed by veiled secrecy by a government that has grown too comfortable in the shadows denying us the transparency we deserve.ā€

Luna credited House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer with entrusting her with the position and added that the task force would enlist the help of the White House, U.S. intelligence allies, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Justice.

ā€œA few weeks ago, President Donald Trump made a historic announcement. With the stroke of a pen, he committed to declassifying the files concerning the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, a decision not just monumental but pivotal,ā€ she said.

Her long list of investigations to be declassified includes: ā€œthe assassinations of JFK, RFK, and Dr. Martin Luther King; unidentified aerial phenomena also known as UAPs; unidentified submerged objects also known as USOs; the Epstein client list, the origins of COVID-19; and the 9/11 files.ā€
