Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, resigned from CNN on Friday. Lewandowski, who joined the network as a political commentator shortly after he was fired from the Trump campaign, is expected to take a position in the Trump administration. According to CNN’s Brian Stelter, Lewandowski was spotted entering Trump Tower earlier Friday, where Trump and his transition committee have been holding meetings. He continued to receive severance payments from the campaign even while he was working for CNN, and was unable to publicly criticize Trump because he signed a non-disclosure agreement with the campaign.
