Bob Corker (R-TN) said on Wednesday that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary James Mattis, and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly “help separate the country from chaos”—the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman's latest shot at the commander in chief and his party’s leader. Corker added that Tillerson in particular “ends up not being supported in the way I would hope a secretary of state would be supported.” His comments come in light of a report that said Tillerson called Trump a “moron” and considered resigning. Tillerson said Wednesday morning that the report, which he didn't outright deny, was “petty nonsense,” and that he was committed to the Trump administration.
