Country Singer Morgan Wade Opts for Double Mastectomy

Country singer Morgan Wade says she is having a double mastectomy after testing positive for the gene that comes with a high risk of breast cancer. “I’m feeling fine, I’m just pissed I won’t be able to work out because I really like working out,” the 28-year-old told Page Six. Wade, best known for the hit “Wilder Days,” said her mother had breast cancer. She learned she carried the gene while on tour in Europe last year and plans to have the surgery in November.
